Quality at Ghana Christian University College

At Ghana Christian University College we seek to build a culture of quality in which all members of our learning community, both staff and students, can add value to themselves, the College, and their communities. We do this by helping staff and students to identify their achievements and aspirations and by enabling them to find the strengths and resources to move towards new goals.


The Quality Office facilitates this process by supporting a regular review process among staff teams and through regular engagement with students.

Welcome to the Academic Office's webpages.

The Academic Office is one of the Professional Services within Ghana Christian University College and is led by the Director of Academic Affairs. Based at the Amrahia, the structure of the Academic Office comprises various units, supported by an Administrative Team, which individually and collectively are working towards achieving our Vision and Mission as well as fulfilling our role. The Academic Office is primarily responsible for Ghana Christian University College’s academic governance systems.


Our offices at the Amrahia Campus are open as follows:


Monday to Thursday from 8:30am - 5:00pm

Friday from 8:00am - 4:30pm


We support a wide range of academic activities, including a secretarial function to the Senate (Academic Board) and provide access to a variety of publications and information, which are designed to help the staff and students of Ghana Christian University College.

In GhanaCU Academic office, we therefore seek to become a recognised and trusted source for both regular and special demands for management information, and advice on its interpretation and meaning.


Our vision is to deliver outstanding professional support, advice and guidance to all our customers – examination candidates, appellants, external examiners, Associate schools, academic staff, Senate committees and the Corporate Management Team.


It is our desire to be an exemplar of best practice for the sector. We hope to maintain lean and innovative systems for all areas of our work including more electronic based schemes which empower schools, departments and other support services to achieve their objectives, with appropriate support from the Academic Office.
